WEILBURGER ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL SIGNING OF A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE TAKEOVER OF THE INDUSTRIAL COATINGS BY KANSAI HELIOS.
Weilburg, February 12, 2024 – WEILBURGER, a leading company for industrial coatings and coating solutions, announces the signing of the purchase agreement for the acquisition of the industrial coatings business by the KANSAI HELIOS Group, a global leader in industrial coatings and chemical products, subject to approval by the relevant authorities.
The WEILBURGER Graphics Business is not part of this acquisition.
KANSAI HELIOS, part of KANSAI PAINT Japan, is a European coating group with its holding company based in Vienna and an extensive production and distribution network throughout Europe and beyond. The group offers a wide range of high-quality and innovative product solutions and systems for various industries, professional users and end customers with paints and varnishes, synthetic resins, adhesives, as well as other chemical products. KANSAI PAINT is one of the world‘s leading manufacturers of paints, varnishes and coatings.
The acquisition announced on February 09, 2024 marks a groundbreaking milestone in the development of both companies. New access to resources, expertise and customers will enable forward-looking concepts and will strengthen our market position in Central Europe and our technologies and products offering, such as powder coatings and E-coats, under the global roof of the KANSAI PAINT group.
